Welcome to my website. I would like to take you into my life as a harpist!

My name is Megan van Uffelen, I was born in Zwolle in 2005. At the age of six I fell in love with the harp. When I was seven years old I started playing lever harp. I made the switch to the pedal harp at age twelve and started taking lessons with Manja Smits. In 2019 I was accepted into the Young Talentclass of the ArtEZ conservatory in Zwolle. In September 2022 I was accepted to move on to the Classical Music Preparatory course of the ArtEZ conservatory. From September 2023 I started the Bachelor Classical Music - Major Subject Harp at the ArtEZ Conservatory, where I continue my lessons with Manja Smits.

In November 2024 I had a very successful audition at Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London. In September 2025 I will continue my studies there.
